About
Amar B.
I traveled all over the world. I stayed in the best hotels, visited the best beaches and had access to beautiful women and caviar. No, I don’t regret a minute of it. Seter… duweter… tigeter…
Hi, I’m Amar Baharudin. I was born on January 27 1985 in Kuala Lumpur. Raised in Selayang for a few years before my family moved to USJ, Subang Jaya. I spent my primary and half of my secondary schools there and continued at Technical Institute of Kuala Lumpur in Mechanical Engineering for two years.
After SPM, I attended Kolej Matrikulasi Negeri Sembilan pursuing in Physical Science. In 2004, I got accepted at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, majored in Industrial Computing for Ba (Hons) in Science and Information Technology. During my varsity days, I joined several student activities and often been offered to be the master of ceremony for university events, mostly art performances.
Shortly after my graduation, I was adapted by Pusat Kebudayaan UKM as one of the officers. I still serve UKM as Pegawai Kebudayaan to date. I manage the gallery, public and international relation, print media and other digital publications, appointed as the master of ceremony besides project manager from time to time. I also serve at one of the residential colleges in UKM as a fellow of welfare. Since 2007, I joined several companies founded by family members and friends. I’m currently freelancing on project basis as a Marketing Executive at AMP Recording Studio in Shah Alam and Creative Director at Nad’s Media Production, a local production/event company produces documentaries and telemovies.
I enjoy music as much as photography. I prefer modern baroque and jazz over techno. I wish to capture stories with my Nikon D90. I’m in a long-distance relationship and madly in love with my girlfriend, thus Skype is my closest friend. I spend most weekends at my parents’ house in Shah Alam. I pretty much enjoy the company of friends.
If you ever wonder what does Seter Duweter mean, you may refer to this entry. Thank you for your interest in me.
Please excuse my English as UKM has demolished my tongue since 2004.
